Bottle. Poured a clear amber brown colored beer with a two fingers slight beige foamy head that had a good retention. Good carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is roasted grainy malts, floral hops, dark chocolate, touch of smoke. The flavour is roasted malts, coffee, caramel, dark chocolate, light bitterness. This medium bodied beer has a nice bitter finish. A very pleasant brew from High Franconia.

"Fränken Bierausflug, Day#3, Brewery#10, Beer#22. Vom Faß, poured a deep copper color with a large foamy off-white head. Malty nose. Very carbonic; spritzy mouthfeel. Flavors of roasted malt and assertive hops; the taste evolves nicely and becomes more complex in the finish.
