Tasted at the Bistro's 13th Annual IPA Fest 8/7/2010. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Medium to large sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy and fruity. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy. Nice balance. Medium to mild bitterness. Good carbonation. It's a touch sweeter and less hoppy than most IPAs. Nice flavor, just not many hops. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

A big juicy explosion of citrusy hop goodness that lingers on the palate and in the nose after it's gone. The second beer tried from a very promising local upstart brewery (currently brewing at Tallac and other semi-local breweries while they get established and create demand). Based on this beer, that won't take long. still good, but not AS good in production.
