Agreed. Big pine, herbal and citrus notes in the flavor and aroma. Medium to full bodied as a little sticky. More than adequately bitter. Good stuff fresh...

It's been awhile since I've indulged in a triple IPA, and even longer when it was one worth noticing. A splendid job by Knee Deep with this one, because it could have easily been a train wreck like many 3xIPA's. A huge aroma of pine and citrus, subtle herb/mint-like with just a bit of breadyness. The palate explodes with waves of hops. Tangerine zest, enamel melting grapefruit rind, some pine notes and no where is there much malt to pick up. Aggressively hopped, minimal malt profile...very nice.
