Tasted on tap at the 13th Bistro Double IPA Festival on 2/9/2013. This Imperial India Pale Ale pours a medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, orange and orange peel, citrusy and floral. A medium bodied double IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet, orange and orange peel. The hops are citrusy and piney. Decent carbonation. Nice balance. A little more citrusy. Medium to high bitterness, which lingers for a while. Very nice beer, it kind of grows on you. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
