Nothing screams summer like smashed up watermelon and hibiscus flowers, amirite? It’s really a match made in heaven: refreshing & light but kinda different.

Tall can from LCBO. Pours an average size foamy white head and has a cloudy orangey ruby coloured appearance. Moderate carbonation. Decent sticky dirty lacing. Aromas of wheat, herbs, hibiscus, melon. Flavours of watermelon are quite noticeable followed by some notes of hibiscus, herbal and grassy hops, some hint of other melon (honeydew). Some sweetness on the palate but not too overdone. Slightly dry mouthfeel. Fairly refreshing.

Mildly hazy golden-peach colour with a frothy white cap, good stay and leaving some thick foamy lacing. Yeasty nose that gives a light wet sock smell with the watermelon and hibiscus saving this a bit. The taste shows more of the watermelon the whole time. Refreshing, with hints of the hibiscus lingering. Not a bad summer refresher.
