The Export Porter in 1750 is a sturdy Russian Imperial Stout. Brewed to an old English recipe from 1750. Dark, almost black in color. Heavy malty and in the fragrance notes of coffee and bitter chocolate. The name of Empress Catherine II of Russia is inextricably linked to the style. Of her said she would have been very keen on the UK products and hence the massive imports would have ordered it.

Pours opaque coffee brown with a thick tan head - more stout than porter. Aroma presents quality coffee, molasses, roast malt, and bourbon-ish fruity tones, almost like a barrel aged stout, which I love to pieces. Decadent flavor delights with molasses, roast malt, quality coffee, semi-sweet chocolate and subtle bourbon tones. Drink this s-l-o-w-l-y! Rich mouthfeel delivers firm, viscous body and strong fizz. Have this for dessert!
