from notes previously taken This is a good session beer for a hot day. As w/ most Karl Strauss beers, it's very middle of the road (read mediocre). Not special, but not bad

Light gold color, medium head. Light flavored pilsner. Light hops and light malts. Slightly sweet. Mild flavor good light summer brew. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly hoppy, no bitterness.

This was a fine beer. A very crisp and refreshing taste. I didn't notice the robust malt character, but it was a good beer. The best I've had yet from Karl Strauss.

Pours gold with minimal head. It pisses me off these guys have all the resources to do better, but don't.

It was a golden color with a moderate head. The flavor was somewhat malty with a very mild hop presence. There was a certain sweet lemony flavor to it. Ok for a hot day but why fool with this stuff in SD, there is sooo much better. Overall average.

This brew pours with a clear golden body topped by a medium thick white head with some lacing left behind. The aroma is slightly sweet, malty and fruity (apples, pears) with a slight grassy hop note. The flavor is sweet, malty and fruity (pears) with a grassy hop note and a slight yeastiness. Light bodied, tingly from the carbonation and slightly dry.
