Coming in a small beautiful bottle it is the strongest Kaltenberg that you can get. It's got a sweet taste, fruity. with it's very dark color it almost leaves no foam once poured.

Fresh on tap at Konig Ludwig's in Wiesbaden. Poured a deep dark brown color (almost black), good initial head, retention, and lacing at these ABV's. The aroma was dark fruits, light grassy hops. The flavor was of caramel, dark fruits (plums and raisins, the latter almost of a rum-soaked type flavor), a little doughy, nicely balanced, not sickly sweet. Mouthfeel was smooth, slight creaminess, but well attenuated and still lager-like.
