Marris Otter pale ale and Munich malts with wheat and flaked barley create this palate pleaser, adding classic english hop varieties Fuggles and East Kent Goldings; this refreshing and aromatic golden ale is slightly spicy with hints of orange and floral aromas.

140 ml on tap at the brewpub in Dublin. Poured in a tasting glass a clear and golden with orange tones coloured Kölsch with a short half a finger light beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is moderate malty with hoppy tones and floral notes. The flavour is sweety malts, earthy hops, fruity notes, oranges. The mouthfeel is clean and smooth. The texture is watery. This light bodied Kölsch has a dry floral and light bitter finish. If quite different from the original Rheinland Kölsch, this regular brew is the try worth.
