An amazing pour, big brick coloured head over an amber ashed colour body. A sweet, malty nectar smell. Seems a little restrained but certainly pleasing. Mouthfeel a little lighter (perhaps, more watery) than some other great Dopplebocks. Surpringsly easy drinkability. Not as rich and slightly lighter bodied. A lot of caramel texture, with some roast. Flavour is immensly tasty, sweet sweet malt! This should be made into a candy. Really, very good.
