Quite strong alcohol and that is the only thing that makes this beer outstanding from other pilseners. Good color, good foam, bitter but nothing special, won’t buy again.

I shall be short on this beer: it's Jupilers, not so great, answer on Duvel (I think Vedett is a better answer on Jupilers lager though). It's just a normal -somewhat heavier- lager.I love the glass it comes with though.

Bottle shared by Robert at the SSSSLT. A Belgian 40ozer that shoulda gone in a brown bag first :). The pour was golden with high carbonation, golden body. The aroma was sweet pils-like grainy malts with some yeasty breadiness. The flavor followed, strong pilsner like qualities, sweet candy notes, some bready aspects too. The mouthfeel was lively carbonated. Always a fun time at State Line, though, and many thanks to Robert for pulling this out....errrrr, was it Jimmy helping ourselves? Geeez, thanks again Robert!

A deep golden beer with a large white foam collar on top. Has a rather sweet aroma like sweet apples and a little hoppy. Feels kind of watery, and not at all lively. Tastes slightly hoppy and bitter. Aftertaste is bitter as well, almost no sense of the alcohol (which is 8.5% 'though). A disapointing beer, which is said to have to - but can not at all - compete with Moortgat's Duvel. A typical InBev product on the other hand: sweet and easy to drink. Can be compared to Leffe Blond (InBev as well).
