In 1836, Daniel T. Porter became the first official land owner of record in Mahomet, Illinois, which was called Middletown at the time. He later went on to become the village’s first postmaster. This Imperial Porter is in honor of him. It comes in at 9.5% ABV. It features a nice roasted malt flavor with a fair amount of hops that turn it up a notch. There is a full flavored Porter that is perfect to help get you through the winter months.
