Purchased at Trader Joe in Vegas. Pours a light hazy golden-amber colour with a frothy warm cap, good retention and lacing. Grainy smell at first with bread notes, but then some citrus spicy-grassy hops appear. The taste is quite cereal grain-like with some light sweetness and hops in the finish. Citrus-grass ones. Not so much a Czech-style lager, but a pretty decent refreshing grainy one.

Pours a clear gold with a foamy white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Smell is of malt/grain and some slight vegetal aromas. Taste is of malt/grain, grassy flavors, and an herbal hop finish. There is a mild bitterness on the palate after each sip. This beer has a light carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty average pilsner but not bad.

not expecting greatness here, but i was really hoping for a nice, crisp hoppy pils. this bordered on macro, though not swill or offensive. i just got some semi-sweet generic corn-type malt, very (too) light hopping. i wanted a bite, it had none. Even for a buck, I'll pass.

I've passed by this beer a few times at Trader Joes, however this time I went ahead and plunked down the money and got a sixer and I was quite happy I did. A clean, flavorful, classic example of a fresh pilsener. A nice malty, bitter walnut-like aroma mixed with some wet pine. Flavor is clean, dry, with a nice hay-like hop flavor with some cracker malt to help the balance. Solid beer and I can see several sixers of this being bought because the price is so right.
