Dark golden color with a large head. The aroma contains some orange, grapefruit, rye, and biscuit. The flavor is bitter with some rye, citrus, lemons, and oranges. The finish of this is also bitter. Overall this was a pretty good IPA.

Amber/ orange body belgian-esque thick fluffy cap with thick lacing, good retention. Aromas of floral, citrus and pine hops, nice. Flavor was a bit of a let down (considering the aroma)only some bitterness to go along with the rye, however it was smooth going down, quite easy to drink. Overall not too shaby, would like to see the hop flavor come through a little more.

Tap: Flying Saucer, Houston: .. . Dark brown gold .. awesome head .. good dose of bitterness, wood, sap and pine needles .. . pretty clean .. . a great beer for such a young brewery, a hardcore IPA .. . why was the cook arrested? he was beating an egg ..
