Nice malt nose also a bit smoked...amber color, medium long lasting fair head. malty grain taste, a bit hoppy...roasted finish...this was a very nice ale, suprised, yes...i have NJ pride and all, but...I did not expect a good beer, after all if youve ever had leeds whiskey or vodka...you never expect anything good and alcoholic to come out of NJ ever

I have passed over this brew numerous times...until recently. I rate this brown ale above average, nice reddish brown color, creamy tan head, laces well, light carmel flavor, lightly hopped, slightly sweet aftertaste. I would like to try this from the tap...
