Pours beautiful clear amber with a thick, frothy, slightly orangy buff head. Hoppy aroma has a definite note of pineapple, plus evergreen, peppery, and malty hints. Flavor is truly distinctive - hops, pineapple, strong but not overwhelming pepper. I’ve tried peppered beers that made your mouth feel like a set from The Towering Inferno. This beer’s pepper note is strong, but it doesn’t make you think that you accidentally drank from a Srirachi bottle; hops, pineapple, and a little malt come through as well. Texture has OK body and good fizz, while finish is mainly habanero. Hop to the growler store, and if you’re lucky you’ll score some.
