Pours a hazy chestnut brown, with orange edge. Thick beige head. Initial hop flinty/hoppy aromas, then herbaceousness, honey, caramel malt. Opens to fruitiness.... subtle pineapple, tobacco leaf. Rich & herbal.... Campari note. Honey, pistachio, toasty. Very English, to me. Full bodied, slightly creamy, bitter. A good mouthful. Excellent drop. One of the better offerings from Jamieson.

Bottled@Chriso. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, floral notes as well as wood, toffee and quite grassy. Flavour is fruits, caramel, wood, some grass as well as mild fudgelike notes. Very bittery and rather dry bittery aftertaste.
