Hopstix Garden Route
Hopstix Garden Route
Rated 3.125 by BeerPalsThis South African inspired IPA has a healthy dose of pale malted sorghum and flaked maize. These ingredients are common among beer styles across the continent of Africa. We used Southern Sublime and Southern Star hops, two varieties grown in South Africa. The result is an unprecedented level of silky smooth and notes of Swedish fish and tangerine

Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
Taps barely translucent apricot with a nice ivory head that creates heavy lacing. Aroma produces weak citrus and hoppy tones. Flavor contributes piney hops, juicy and tangy grapefruit and tangerine, a little mango, a bit of malt. Texture provides decent body and peppy fizz. Take the garden route.
