Comes out of the tap a very appetizing golden amber with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled creamy buff head. Aroma is hoppy from here to the Pole of Inaccessibility, mainly pine with snips of wood and citrus. Flavor is like liquid fresh-cut pine wood, bold and evergreen but only slightly bitter; rye and earthy notes make themselves known, too. Firm, fizzy texture leaves a sharp evergreen finish that has an undertone of Mandarin orange. A truly memorable Double IPA!
