Seasonal - March & April. A premium dark red beer, based on the recipe used for the 150th celebration brew. Copper has a strong dry palate with an unusual 'old fasioned' aftertaste. Copper is brewed with Maris Otter malt, flavoured with proportions of aromatic and brown malt, creating a highly distinctive character. Fuggles, challenger and Goldings whole hops are used, and the beer is both late hopped in the copper and dry hopped in the cask.

500 ml bottle conditioned, from Voldby Købmandsgaard. ABV is 5.0%. Moderately gushing bottle. Copper colour, large to moderate off-white head. Earthy, woody and spicy aroma, also hints of blackcurrants. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour is quite dry, again with earthy and woody notes, and a spicy and hoppy medium bitter finish. Would buy again, and drink it fresher.
