Sometimes serendipity plays a bigger role in brewing that you might think – and the 1805 Ale is one of those times. We were originally aiming to refine our Great Granville Riot IPA and wound up with this classic IPA. Not as hoppy in the nose or the finish as modern IPA’s, 1805 Ale pairs a unique set of stone fruit and raisin esters with a clean, dry finish.

poured a thin white head, with good thick lacing with a clear gold color. The aroma consists of malt and grassy hops. The taste has a malty up front start and then moves to touch of lemon quickly followed by grassy hop finish. The mouth feel is medium with just correct amount of carbonation.
