Old World Ale or 'Alt Bier' refers to German Ales brewed in Dusseldorf. This style of beer is fermented cool. Warmer than a traditional lagers but cooler than standard British Ales. The aging is done at near freezing temperatures anywhere from two weeks to several months. In short it is lagered ale. Our Old World Ale combines the best qualities of both lagers and standard ales. The flavoring and complexity of standard ale and the subtle refinements and clean finish of a lager create a beer that is 'out of this world' in fact 'Old World'. Levi's Legacy is copper in hue, has a slight bitterness and a bready malt finish. Dedicated to the memory of our beloved family Dalmatian, who was always up for a good time.
