500 ml flip-top bottle. Poured in the original Hluncinsky Dréher tulip glass an unpasteurized clear oak-burgundy coloured Pivo with a symbolic tan foamy head that had no retention. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is toasted malts and fruits, dark berries, prunes, vinous notes. The flavour is roasted malts, burned coffee beans, fruity, dark berries, flowery, violet. The mouthfeel is quite thin and smooth. This light to medium bodied Pivo has a long burned coffee beans finish. A quite unusual Dunkel from Moravia, close to the Polish boarder. Sold in Germany as a Schwarzes Bier, but it's not the correct translation for the czech word " Tmavy ".
