This beer, featured at the OF in Madison was anything but an Imp. IPA. I couldn't believe it when I tried it. I returned the beer and asked them to please pour another, but it still tasted the same. I asked if they could check the kegs and they reassured me that it was indeed labeled Imp. IPA but I couldn't disagree more. I was so convinced that it wasn't, I even called Hinterland themselves and protested this misidentified brew. The manager said it was what it was. And the brewer never returned my call. Really stellar beer, hearty, big brew, and I loved the taste, but the style name irks me.
