Single Hop – Columbus Sampled on 5/28/2011. This IPA pours a slightly murkey orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized slightly off white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy and herbal. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and slightly citrusy. Decent carbonation. Interesting beer. I am not thinking much about Columbus as a single hop beer. It need something else. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
