This hazy song of hops and barley was written in tribute to Gabriel Zavala (1945-2021), the Mariachi Maestro! Mr. Zavala dedicated himself to music and sharing his craft with the young people in his community through playing and teaching. Cashmere, Mosaic, Motueka, and Sabro hops blast aroma like a harmonizing horn combo as barley and flaked oats create a bass line of body like a golden guitarrón. Pineapple, orange, and a hint of coconut get your tongue dancing through this composition. May the melody of Mr. Zavala’s life resonate forever in the hearts of the people he touched. ¡Salud!
