Nordic Lager is infused with Scandanavian Angelica Root, which is known for it restorative properties and once said to be the currency of Vikings. It creates a quietly herbaceous flavour, backed with a mild sweetness. It is also brewed using the original Danish Yeast, which is nearly 200 years old, and Canadian grains. The result is a golden lager that is both complex and refreshing.

Tall can from LCBO. Pours a fairly big foamy white head and has a pale copper appearance. Big thick soapy lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of herbal and grassy hops, some mild wheat and yeasty notes. Flavours are mostly herbal, some grassy notes. Very light citrus and pine notes as well. Somewhat of a dry finish.

The beer pours a translucent red-tinged gold colour with a bubbly off-white head which lasts a few minutes. The aroma is cereal grains and herbal hops. Maybe Angelica root has no odour. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is grainy malt, some tart spiciness, and weakly bitter finish. The tart spiciness lingers for a long while after the beer is finished. -

Pours a clean light-amber colour with golden highlights. The head is big, frothy-creamy, with good retention and some nice spotted lacing. Fresh cereal malt nose with a nice balance between the mild sweetness and hoppiness. The taste shows lots of cereal grain flavours that lingers. Some nice bitter finish builds. The Angelica roots seem to add a nice touch to this micro lager. Very drinkable and a nice collaboration.
