This mead is made from avocado honey. There are no actual avocado fruit in this varietal. Avocado honey is the byproduct of the honeybees' pollination process, a natural phenomenon that is essential to putting guacamole on the table! Our California Avocado Blossom mead is light, very dry and refreshing, with buttery, nutty flavors, and a hop-like bite at the finish that suggests a Pilsner-style beer.

Bottled@Sundsvall BF 2010. Golden colour with a small sparkling bubbly white head. Aroma is honey, some fruits, mild wood and herbs. Flavour is wood, honey, resin and mild spices. Some slight alcohol in the finish. Also some mild applelike notes.
