This is my first India beer rating and it is amazing this 650mL bottle at 7% ABV is coming half way across the planet and only costs $2.99. I’m certainly glad they didn’t bother with a Hayward’s 4000 because that would have been just silly. 5000 is the right call, know that. Pours pale gold with white head. The aroma is faint with sweetness, faint dark fruity esters and mild chemicals. The taste is sugar sweet sugar and cereal followed by floral hops and faint dark fruitiness.

Stopped by the local international market to price vegetables and decided to check out the beer singles. Picked this one up with a few others. Clear, bright yellow with a denser cap than I expected. Lemon & grass in the aroma, mostly tart but some sweetness. Surprised by the bitterness, which isn't yeasty but is balanced with sweet bread. Has some weight to it and a good tingle. Overall feels too heavy.

Aroma is crisp, malty and a little fruity - typical, but at least OK. Pours a clear, rather wan yellow - not too good, but at least the white head is thick and somewhat persistent. Flavor is - not outstanding, but for a pale lager, a snip or two above average. Malty and fruity, satisfying. Texture has OK body and OK fizz. Overall, fair to middlin’. If not great, at least potable. Good for a party, or with a meal.

Bought during the trials (Hayward Field) and drank during the olympics. great name, mediocre beer. eh...mediocre is being too nice. It's crap, but not nearly as bad as some. Corny, grassy, slightly medicinal...light, watery, slightly refreshing when it's 98 out. Not much else to say :)

Pours a pale yellow color. Smell is of grains, corn. Taste is a little off. Something metallic and medicinal, a bit of grains and malts. Overall not a very good beer.

You know, this is a malt liquor by any other name. Green apples were present in the nose. For a decent buzz, this beer will do. With that aside, the appearance was average, and the taste was okay. If I was on a deserted island with just this, I'd get by on it after a hard days work of clearing land for a hut.

A barbecue offering. I bring a couple with intentional stamps on them. This one from India is a swill wannabe. Light yellow body. A weak frothy white head settles just as quickly as other swills. The aroma is nearly undetectable. The body is light and watery and overly carbonated. The taste is of corn and sugar, but really not as bad as your average swill.

Bottled. Pale yellow colour, big white head, which disappears quickly though. Strong alcoholic sting in aroma, with weak malts also present. Easy to drink, due to wateryness. Wateryness is also the weakness in it. Alcohol nowhere to be fount in flavour. Weak malts is there as well as some weird sweetness, could be a mix of sugar and vegetables or something. Could be good with Indian food, otherwise not. A bit oilyish palate.
