A lush, sweet stout named after the county in which it is brewed. Sweet Sussex was a prize winning beer at the International Brewers Exhibition in 1968 and was awarded the Silver Medal at the Brewing Industry International Awards in 1990.

Jeff Again! I found my brief notes from this beer. Sweet, coffee and salt water taffee is what I wrote down. Who cares if it is 2%?! Does it quench the thirst, in the right occassion, like at breakfast, would this not be better than orange juice?

Mitch again. This sucks! It’s only like 2% or something! Dark brown brew with minor lacing. Sweet aroma, too sweet actually, some form of coffee.. maybe. Terrible taste! Blood, weak everything, soooo watery. Probably the weakest tasting beer ever.
