Dave doesn’t like to cite any of his beers as his favourite. But under the cover of darkness, when no one is looking, after a hard day arguing with whoever it is he thinks needs to be argued with today, he creeps to the fridge where there will always be a few bottles chilling nicely. Made with a mix of hops from around the Pacific rim, Some West Coast USA C hops, but rounded off with a balance of NZ hops just for the hell of it. At 5.8% it’s a perfect beer geeks session beer. We think it works especially well in keg too, that extra bit of chill and a guaranteed condition brings the best out of the hop aromas.

This was the last of many enjoyable beers in England. Had a few from Hardknott Brewery and was not disappointed. Too busy having fun with family and friends to take notes. Grapefruit and pine with a decent malt balance. Oily mouthfeel.
