In Norwegian: Waldemars Pale Ale er inspirert av tradisjonsrik bryggerkunst, med en gylden farge, mild aroma og en karakteristisk bitterhet. Brygget av spesielt utvalgte maltsorter og tysk aromahumle.

Clear golden yellow with decent foam head lacing to glass. Aroma is bitter hops. Taste is too sweet with little bitter aftertaste. Some metal taste. (Bergen 201206)

500 ml can, ABV is 4.5%. A "pale ale" brewed with German aromatic hops, hmm? Golden colour, big to moderate head. Moderate "pale lager" aroma, hints of grass and honey. The flavour and mouthfeel are also like a pale lager, as such not the worst I have tasted, not offensive, but far from great. In a blind test I would never have guessed that this was an ale. Lacks completely the character of an English bitter / pale ale.
