330 ml bottle, as Hancock Merry Christmas Happy New Year, vintage 2018, from Skjold Burne, Hjørring. ABV is 6.3%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of pilsener malts and carapilsener, also alcohol. The flavour is medium sweet with notes of malts, caramel and alcohol, moderate hops. Probably good with some rye bread and "sildemad", and a "snaps".

pours a very clear golden colour, absolutely no head; oily grassy nose, sweet with a good malt backbone, a bit sticky and with a low bitterness; the finish is rather short with just some herbal notes - what a strange idea to brew a boring pale lager for Christmas ...

nice, yet typical, christmas aroma with the essential spices, fine crispy lasting head and a mellow and warm taste blending the spices with the hops in a pleasant way
