If you like Brown Ales, then pass over this joke of a beer. A weak shit brown pour with some haze and a tan cap. Aroma is weak nutty malt, and floral hops. Flavour is nutty malt and sour/metallic tones.

Bootleggers Brown Ale Tasted at the 6th Annual Triple Rock Firkin Fest on 4/4/2009. This brown ale pours a medium brown color from the firkin. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, bready and sweet with a touch of nuttiness. A medium bodied brown ale. The malts are caramel, nutty and sweet. The hops are earthy. Soft carbonation. Would be a great session brown ale, a low alcohol, easy drinking ale with some flavor. . Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

I had a 4oz sample of this beer at their brewpub. Sweet, with camramel flavor standing out. One of the better beers I had from them.
