Poured into an imperial pint glass. The beer is a clear, golden/amber color with a small off white head. Grapefruit, mango, pineapple, tangerine, resinous hop and some pine on the nose. Tastes as it smells, with a strong citrus presence, balanced with some bready sweet malt. Pleasing bitter grapefruit rind finish. Mouthfeel is full and above average for the style. A hop bomb of an IIPA. IMO, this is the best beer that Half Acre makes and they make some very good beers. Worth seeking out.
