33cl bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg, Strømmen. Pours clear golden with a rather small, white head. Herbal, grassy and grainy aroma with weak fruity and floral notes. American IPA? It says so on the back of the bottle. Well, not quite what I expected yet again, somewhat hoppy, yes, but still reminds me more of a hoppy lager or pilsner than a pale ale. Moderate to medium sweet with modest hoppy and grainy flavours and mild, but fairly nice bitterness.I have no idea where this is brewed, but have to say I am a bit confused - it says on the label that it’s an American IPA brewed in England. Well, fairly drinkable, but still more puzzled and curious about this than impressed.
