    This beer is exactly what the name implies. Hops, hops, hops! Smells great, tastes great, good with their spicy dishes. One of their better beers, and they make some good seasonals.

    Tasted on tap at the 7th Annual Bistro Double IPA fest. This Imperial IPA pours a cloudy medium orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is malty and caramel, more sweet than hoppy. A medium bodied 2x IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are citrusy and piney. Nice balance. Big malt backbone. Lots of hop flavors, but not a lot of hop bitterness. It right in that class between an Imperial IPA and a Barleywine. Touch of alcohol bite in the finish. Solid beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth, Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
