The whole concept of Papsø and dogs has always been a controversial one - shrouded in mystery. In his many, many years in television news Papsø ran hundreds of stories about dogs. But since many of those stories contained sadness, pain and agony – even dogs being put down – many came to believe that Papsø was a dog hater. As the name of this beer proves, nothing could be further from the truth. This beer is all about the love of puppies as experienced one wonderful summer camping in the Grassroots gardens – those puppies being the offspring of the famous and beautiful brewery dog Hamburglar. Bottled (thanks Papsoe). Honeyish golden colour, white head. Aroma is hops, some vanilla, some mild alcohol and some slight maltyness. Flavour is sweet fruits, rather bitter wooden and freshly cut grass. Bitter aftertaste as well.
