Our English Brown Ale. A Mild Bodied Beer beer that is dark in color, while at the same time full of flavor. A wonderfully drinkable beer, with slight toffee, nutty and carmel flavors. Let the honey-like malt flavor lure you in

Sampled on 9/11/2010. This brown ale pours a dark brown color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, sweet and a touch nutty. A medium bodied brown ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, caramel and nutty. The hops are earthy. Little to no carbonation. Kind of overly sweet and somewhat cola like, its a little thin and watery as well. Not a good combination. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

12 oz bottle. Pours a deep ruby brown with a very small head that quickly goes to a very thin collar.

The aroma is caramel and toffee malts and some roast with a little smoky molasses.

The flavor is nutty caramel and toffee malts and a little smokiness with a lightly acidic bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and very watery with almost no carbonation.

Overall, another Grand Lake beer that I liked a lot better fresh on tap at the brewery. The watery body was very distracting.

Smells very milk chocolaty with some roast tones.. Pours a average brown with no head. Water body but a smooth finish. Carbonation is lacking here. Flavor is very boring and not very good.. I can taste water more than toffee and carmel... this is not a good one at all.
