Deep golden coloring with a full, lacy head. Initial aromas on the pour are of pears and apples then starts to focus on the nice yeasty malt nose as the beer settles. Very malty in flavor with a finish like baked bread - reminds me of a maltier version of a Hapkin or Duvel. Nice beer.

Bottled@SBWF2007. Hazy golden colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is acidic fruits, some yeast and caramel malts. Flavour is acidic fruits, earth and some spices. Spices and metal in finish.

Bottle, under its alias "Goliath", RBESG 2005 Grand Tasting. Sweetish malty aroma and flavour, not that remarkable. There are better Belgian beers to be had.

cloudy orange colour with a thin dense head, yeasty and bready, perfumy with notes of honey and anis, overcarbonated, bitter and dry with a long dry honeyish finish - rough and rather hard to drink for my palate

Bottle: Poured a hazy blonde beer with a huge head with above average retention. Aroma is quite hoppy with some notes of yeast and light spices. Taste is very refreshing for a pale ale with some nice floral touch from the hops and a subtle spicy finish. Very good as a refreshing beer but in no way is it a complex beer.
