Pours a nice golden amber with a thick, white, fine-bubbled head. Aroma is strong, malty and slightly fruity. Flavor is malty and pleasant but a little watery. Texture is smooth and a bit thin - too bad. I do tend to discriminate against pilsners, but this one failed to impress me.

Pours a transparent, straw-yellow color with a bubbly white foamy head that dissipates quickly leaving a thin white layer and no lacing. The aroma is of hops, lemon peel, and some hints of grass. The taste is of sweet biscuit, malt, and some bitter hops in the finish, but not much. A bit of sweet biscuit in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is clean, crisp, a little thin, and some carbonation in the end.

not a bad pils. light floral and drinkable, but again, nothing i'll go out of my way for. a decent party beer, no more, no less. probably won't revisit too many of there's...save for the CostCo mixer!

One step up from Coors light, this beer pours piss yellow with a short lasting head. Mouthfeel is really the only thing that separates this pils from a grocery store beer. Oh yeah, there is a faint whiff of hops followed by a grassy, grain flavor. A poor excuse for a pilsner. Completely over priced.

Sampled from bottle. Pours brilliant gold with a lasting head. Grainy nose with a hint of hops. Crisp with a delicate herbal hop flavor. Strong pils malt backbone. Dry with moderate-heavy carbonation. Seems to be right on style. It's a good pils.

Pours a golden yellow color with a nice white head. Lots of bubbles. Slight malty aroma. Light clean mouthfeel. Taste is lightly hopped, malty. Good flavor.

Pilsner is not my favorite, but as others, I like GB in general so took a shot at this. A better example of a pilsner than some, but I'll stick to ales.

I usually drink this at the restaurant and I've generally found beers by Gordon Biersch preferable to the regular lot. So when I saw this at the supermarket I didn't think twice. The pilsner pours a light golden color, so light in fact I thought I was looking at a macrobrew. However, when I took a sip, it was really hoppy. I thought it too hoppy for a pils and that overpowering element ruined this beer. The hops left little to be said for the aftertaste.

Another average beer from Gordon Biersch. A nice beer, better than the Marzen but still lacks a great taste. Flavor is weak and leaves a lot to be desired. Worth a sample.

Lt gold color, large head. Light hops and malts. Light tasting pilsner. Full round mouthfeel. Good flavor. Nice balance. Finish is smooth and clean. Aftertaste is smooth and slightly bitter.
