Bearded Lady is a bit of a departure from the Good People norm. Our take on the Wheat Beer, a perennial favorite, the light body is complemented with just a hint of hops and just a twinge of tartness that give the Bearded Lady a subtle citrus flavor that leaves you wanting more. We wanted to make a beer that was refreshing and highly drinkable for the warm Alabama summer, yet not sacrifice the integrity of anything with the Good People label. This is a beer we would be proud to hoist over our lawnmowers and say, “Today grass…you are mine!” Beauty is beard-deep.

Pours hazy, barely translucent golden with a thick and frothy eggshell head. Wheaty aroma has yeasty and citrus hints. Wheaty flavor has a grassy undertone, not amazing but refreshing. Texture has average fizz and body, but still pleases. Beard me!

Hazy pale golden-yellow with a moderate, fluffy white head. Lightly hopped with a bit of a citrus nose and flavor. Excellent hot-weather beer; very drinkable and refreshing - high quality.

Hazy light yellow pour with a fluffy white head and plenty of lacing. Lemon zest and light citrus aroma and flavor, nice and light, refreshing and clean. Super easy to drink.
