500 ml swing-top bottle, bought at Mohren Bräu in Bayreuth. Poured in the original Mohren Stein glass a clear oak-burgundy coloured Dunkel with a two fingers beige pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is toasted malts, cereal, brown sugar and caramel. The flavour is heavy toasted malts, bready, molasses, notes of ashes. The mouthfeel is crispy, sweety and a bit sticky. This medium bodied Dunkel has a dry sweety and toasted malts finish. A not really convincing Dunkel.
