This beer was one of the reasons we opened Golden Road. Brewmaster Jon Carpenter wanted to create a low alcohol content IPA that didn’t compromise on the bold hop profiles that Californians crave. Point The Way IPA rings in at 5.2% ABV, well below the 6.5-7% ABV where most IPA’s start, befitting what Carpenter calls an “assertive and enjoyable, session IPA.” He credits our signature yeast, which was developed by Golden Road with the Los Angeles beer drinker in mind.

Again, low abv and ibus, and again, irrelevant. Very aromatic and flavorful, this session ipa leans on late addition of hops to be more flavorful than most 7% 80+ ibu brews. Light on the palate, but not in your heart :) Blasts of citrus and flowery hops. 2013-diff recipe, not quite as great.
