Spiced holiday beer made from the second runnings of our forthcoming 275th Anniversary Ale (Sept 2007). We find it a bit sweeter and more full-bodied than last year’s version. A hint of fresh cranberries, along with cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, make this spicy treat irresistible.

Cask, without spices and fruit... Poured a deep caramel color with a medium sized, off white head and nice lacing on the glass. Medicinal, blackberry, cardboardy aroma. Taste was lightly bitter, with more berries as well. This was very disappointing, I assume they should not put this on, until it has spices and fruit it in.
