Brewed with English lavender harvested from Meander River Farms and wildflowers honey from G.G. Smeltzer & Son in Shubenacadie, this strong yet accessible ale features original flavours and pairs well with light fish dishes as well as roasted chicken with sweet chili sauce.

Purchased at the brewery on my trip to Nova Scotia. Pours a hazed, light-golden colour with a huge frothy white head, very long lasting with soapy lace. Spicy aromas with some pine, floral notes and decent soft yeast. The taste has a little more of the lavender, hints of wood, with good grain in the finish and again, some decent spices. Kind of pie-like. Some light sweetness from the honey lingering. An interesting floral sweet brew. Nice to try once.
