A freaky Aran Madden creation involving bretanamyces, organic red beets, black pepper and some black malt for a high-alcohol, used band-aid sort of vibe.

This unique beer courtesy of pfoxyjohn via Cincy beer adventure. Pours a light Coca-Cola brown with a massive Coke-like head and nice lacing. Black pepper dominates the aromas, which is ok, along with a sweet fruit-like aroma from the beets. Taste is spicy, fruity, peppery, even garden-y - just plain funky. Can't pigeonhole this one for sure. Neat beer worth trying - thanks John for something different.

Interesting beer that definately scores high in my book. Pours a muddy reddish brown colour with a huge beige head. Plenty of carbonation. Mouthfeel is creamy and spritzy with lightly roasted malts. Right on with the semi sweetness of the beets. I wasn't sure what to expect, but i really dug this one. Finishes a little peppery but very pleasent. noticeable tomatoe and maybe some onions as well. I need to pick up some more for sure.
