330 ml bottle, at The Beehive, Brentford, London. Copper coloured, moderate head. Malty sweet aroma with hints of dried fruits, oak and sherry. Flavour is malty sweet with oak, dried figs and dusty hops. Warming mouthfeel. Interesting.

Clear darker amber with quickly dissapearing off-white foam head. Aroma is a pleasure mixture of barley, alcohol and hop. Taste is bittersweet, bitter dominating. Also flower and grassy notes, nice balance, good beer. (Velp 201301)

The LCBO got a bunch of different Fuller's this Christmas, and this is one of them. Pours a deep amber colour with a big creamy beige head, great retention and foamy lacing all-around. Big nose of bread, caramel, dark fruits with hints of molasses and citrusy hops. Seems like a warming mouthfeel at first, but really just goes through in a wet fashion. No burning, wondering were the alcohol's at ?? The taste is a bit bitter with lots of grain, reminding me or rye, with notes of raisins, orange zest, plums, brown sugar and the grain coming back, lingering in the aftertaste. Not bad at all and too easy to drink. Really, where is the 8.5% ABV ?

One of the 6 beers brought in as part of the Fuller's release at the LCBO. THis is a very mellow smooth beer. A clear amber pour, lots of sweet stuff in the aroma like chocolate, caramel, and hops. Tastes great with a sweetness that lingers.

The beer pours a translucent dark reddish gold colour with a thin rocky tan cap. The aroma was grains, sweet malt, caramel, and floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium bocied with medium carbonation. The flavour was cereal, sugar, and grains. Has a lot in common with a North American Stock Ale. Definitely not my favourite beer from Fuller's.

Really nice looking beer with it's darkish amber color and lots and lots and lots of foam. Aroma gives some hints of it's strongness, but at the same time nice bouquet of different aromas, starting from fruity smoothness to it's bitter ending. Taste is smooth and sweet, not at all so strong as it should be. Tastes like a candy. Thumbs up from me.

Nice deep amber colour with anice white lace. Alcoholic and sweet aroma with hints of toffee. Flavour of caramel malt, toffee and vodka. Alcoholic finish. Too spritzy to me.

Bottled. Dark amber colour, big foamy white head. Toffee, malts and hops in aroma. Plummy, sweet toffeeish flavour with hints of sweet berries. Quite barley wineish beer. Strong bitterish hoppy aftertaste. Wellbalanced and pleasant! 6 8 8 8 7

Cask@Barrow Boy And Banker, London. Copper colour, mediumsized creamy beige head. Aroma is toffee, caramelmalts, some grass and mild alcoholic notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same as well as some raisiny and plummy notes. Alcohol gives the beer a quite full body and also gives some warming notes in the finish. 7 8 8 8 8.

light hazy ruby colour with a nice creamy head, beautiful lacing, strong hoppy aroma showing red fruits, honey, flowers and cream, full-bodied and oily, very malty and smooth, robust bitterness before a long, dry and warming hoppy finish - a wonderful brew with lot of character
