So here we are 25 years later. Very humbled, grateful, and amazed that we got here in one piece. Still a mix of beer geeks and boardheads. Still independent. Still trying to find that perfect balance between art and commerce, work and play, inspiration and perspiration. Thanks for supporting us for all these years, and next time you’re in Hood River, stop by for a beer.

A dull amber colored beer with a big frothy textured beige-white head rising above. There's decent hang time on the head. A persist lacing settles in. An interesting floral-bready-caramel nose. Grassy, floal hops dominate in a backbone of bready malt in the tasting. Certainly interesting. Highly effervescent.

Sampled on 3/13/14. This dopplebock pours a light to medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Large to medium sized white foamy head with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is malty, sweet and bready. A medium to light bodied dopplebock. The malts are bready, caramel and sweet. The hops are herbal and earthy. Decent carbonation. Nice malty and bready dopplebock, dark fruit and some brown sugar. A touch boozy and perhaps a touch of oxidation. Very drinkable. Aroma is sweeter than the taste. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours a medium orange amber body with a half finger off-white head with great retention and lacing. Mild aroma of bready and biscuit malt with a hint of toasted malt. Flavor is caramel malt and somewhat astringent hops, finishing with bittering hops and an alcohol kick. The flavor is sweet and fairly intense, but unbalanced towards bitterness and booze. An unusual take on a doppelbock that leans towards the boozy side. It did not really come together for me, tough to drink at first, softened towards the finish thankfully.
