I use to live close to this brewery and knew the owner John. His beer was very nice. This beer had a hoppy aroma to it. It also had a very hoppy taste to it that made it nice.

A curious little beer, from a brewery I had never heard of, at a place I had never been to previously (the Coat Of Arms Pub in Portsmouth NH).

I was actually pretty impressed with this, to be honest. I mean, it's nothing that really blows me away, flavor wise, but it's interesting enough in the flavor and aroma profiles for a quick session pint.

Quite pale and frilly looking, when pulled from the beer engine at the Coat Of Arms. But I tend to think that serving method only made this beer that much more interesting. Easy on the mouthfeel, with the flavor profile coming through easy-as-you-please. Perehaps a bit funky in the backend, but nothning too distracting, IMO.

Not too bitter, not too malty, but overall a nicely quaffable session Bitter. Recommendable.
